& PLANNING

Every project is an opportunity to enrich the environment.

STUDIO
A cornerstone of our work is to integrate the relationship of self with that of the landscape -- they are inexorably tied together.
We are committed to creating sustainable, site-specific designs that celebrate the unique characteristics of each place. We approach every project with an interdisciplinary mindset, collaborating closely with ecologists, artists, engineers, and community members to ensure our designs are not only environmentally responsible but also socially engaging. By blending art and science, we craft landscapes that foster human connection, enhance ecological health, and respond to the evolving challenges of a changing climate.
Whether designing small gardens or large public spaces, we focus on creating beautiful, resilient environments that are rooted in the history and culture of the site, while offering innovative solutions for the future. At the heart of our work is the belief that thoughtful, inclusive design can transform spaces into meaningful places that enrich the lives of those who encounter them, human and hon-human alike.
PROCESS

Our design process is rooted in collaboration, discovery, and deep engagement with both the site and the community. We begin by listening closely to our clients, partners, and local users to understand their aspirations, needs, and the cultural and environmental context of the project. From there, we conduct a thorough analysis of the site—examining its ecological systems, historical and contemporary significance, as well as its potential for regeneration. Often working alongside experts from various fields, we integrate ecological, social, and artistic considerations into the design, ensuring that each decision supports sustainability, resilience, and long-term vitality.
Throughout the process, we emphasize creativity and innovation, exploring new ideas and approaches while staying grounded in the unique characteristics of the site. Our goal is to craft thoughtful, adaptable designs that not only address immediate needs but also foster a lasting connection between people, place and ecology. By continuously refining the design through feedback and iteration, we ensure the outcome is both functional and inspiring, enriching the environment and the communities that inhabit it.
