The town of Blue Hill requested a comprehensive bike and pedestrian plan aimed at enhancing safety and accessibility throughout the community. Collaborating with residents, town officials, and MDOT representatives, we identified key areas for improvement. Our approach included expanding and adding sidewalks and crosswalks, creating dedicated bike lanes, planting street trees and vegetated buffers, and improving pedestrian visibility through strategic lighting. These interventions were designed to provide safer, more accessible streets for both pedestrians and cyclists.
