We helped bring life to an aging brick patio while enhancing wildlife habitat and privacy. Bluestone pavers were selected to transform the space into a refined yet casual gathering area while ensuring it complemented the surrounding landscape and local design aesthetic. To bring the vision to life, we collaborated with our trusted colleagues at Acadia Stone and Garden, who helped create a beautiful stone patio and stairway that wraps around the house.

To address the need for privacy from both the road and neighboring properties, a dense hedge of native flowering trees, shrubs, and perennials was established. The lush plantings not only block visual and noise disruption from the road but also provides seasonal interest while supporting wildlife. Over time, the hedge will mature into a thick screen that offers increased privacy and sound insulation. Additionally, we seeded the exposed soil with a native mix to prevent unwanted weeds, enhance biodiversity, and add seasonal color and texture.
