Swift Current Energy requested a visual impact assessment for the largest utility-scale solar development in New England to date. The 100-megawatt complex needed to be sited in a way that preserved the rural and scenic character of the Maine woods, while maximizing solar gain, ensuring access for installation and maintenance, and minimizing visual impact. The visualization study was conducted to assess the project's visual impact before development, allowing for proactive consideration of potential concerns and the design of solutions to mitigate any negative effects.
